Our Position
Barber Collectives respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and equivalent laws.
Submitting a Notice of Infringement
If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent (contact address below) that includes:
- A physical or electronic signature of the rights holder or an authorized agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with information reasonably sufficient to locate it (such as the URL).
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.
Incomplete notices may not be actionable. Knowingly submitting false notices may result in liability.
Counter-Notice
If your content was removed or disabled in response to a notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice including:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, of your good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your contact information and consent to jurisdiction as required by law.
Repeat Infringers
We may suspend or terminate accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
Designated Agent
Send notices and counter-notices to the contact address listed at the bottom of this document, addressed "Attn: DMCA Agent." We will update our designated-agent registration with the U.S. Copyright Office as needed.
