This Privacy Policy governs use of the BARBER COLLECTIVES™ brand and website ("BARBER COLLECTIVES"), owned and operated by VGR USA LLC.

VGR USA LLC d/b/a Barber Collectives ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you visit barbercollectives.com or purchase our products.

Information We Collect

• Order & account info: name, shipping/billing address, email, phone number, and order history. Payment details are processed by Shopify Payments and Shop Pay — we never see or store full card numbers.
• Device & usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring URLs, collected via cookies and similar technologies.
• Marketing data: email address if you subscribe to drops, restocks or promotions.

How We Use Your Information

• Fulfill, ship and support your orders.
• Provide customer service and process returns or warranty claims.
• Prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.
• Send transactional emails and — only with consent — marketing communications.
• Improve our site, catalog and product recommendations.

Sharing Your Information

We share data only with service providers that help us operate the store, including Shopify (commerce platform), payment processors (Shopify Payments, Shop Pay), shipping carriers, and analytics providers. We do not sell your personal information.

Your Rights

Depending on your location (including California under the CCPA and the EU/UK under the GDPR), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and opt out of marketing at any time. Contact support@barbercollectives.com to make a request.

Categories of Personal Information (CCPA/CPRA)

In the preceding 12 months we may have collected the following categories of personal information from California residents: identifiers(name, email, phone, IP address); commercial information(orders, returns, purchase history); internet or other electronic network activity information (pages viewed, referring URL, device and browser); geolocation information (approximate location derived from IP); and inferences drawn to recommend products. We collect this information from you directly, from your device, and from our service providers (e.g. Shopify, Klaviyo, Google). We use it for the purposes described in "How We Use Your Information" and disclose it only to the service providers described in "Sharing Your Information." We do not sell personal information and do not knowingly share personal information of consumers under 16 for cross-context behavioral advertising.

California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email support@barbercollectives.com. We will verify your request by matching the information you provide against records in our system, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

Legal Basis & International Transfers (GDPR/UK GDPR)

If you are located in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, we process your personal information under the following legal bases: performance of a contract(to fulfill your order); legitimate interests (to operate, secure and improve the store, and to prevent fraud); consent(for marketing communications and non-essential cookies); and legal obligation (tax and record-keeping). You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.

Barber Collectives operates in the United States, and our service providers (including Shopify, Klaviyo, Google and our payment processors) may process your data in the United States and other countries whose laws may differ from those of your country. Where required, transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent transfer mechanism made available by the applicable provider. Cookies

We use cookies for cart functionality, authentication, analytics and marketing. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some features of the store will not work without them.

Google Analytics & Advertising Cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-P7Z7MVM72C) to understand how visitors interact with barbercollectives.com so we can improve the store, catalog, and product recommendations. GA4 sets first-party cookies (such as _ga and_ga_<container>) that record a randomly generated client identifier, pages viewed, referring URL, approximate location (country/region derived from IP, which Google truncates), device and browser type, and interactions with product pages. We also enable Google's cross-domain linker so that when you continue to checkout on checkout.barbercollectives.com, your session and any advertising click identifiers (such as gclid orutm_* parameters) are preserved for accurate attribution.

We currently operate Google's Consent Mode with advertising signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) set to denied, and analytics signals (analytics_storage) set to granted. This means we measure aggregate site performance but do not use Google's advertising personalization features from this website.

How to opt out of Google Analytics: you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, disable third-party or all cookies in your browser settings, or use your browser's private/incognito mode. California residents and other U.S. state residents with applicable privacy rights may also submit a request to support@barbercollectives.com and we will honor verified opt-out requests, including Global Privacy Control signals where required by law.

Cart Tracking & Abandoned-Checkout Reminders

When you browse the store, add items to your cart, or begin a checkout, we use cookies and similar technologies to remember the contents of your cart and to determine whether a checkout was abandoned. If you have provided your email address or mobile number and opted in to marketing, we (and our service providers such as Klaviyo and Shopify) may use that information to send you abandoned-cart reminder messages by email or SMS with a link back to your cart. SMS Marketing & Cart Recovery Messages

Where you have expressly opted in (for example by providing your mobile number and checking an SMS consent box on our newsletter or popup), Barber Collectives may send you recurring automated marketing, promotional, transactional and informational text messages — including drops, restocks, order updates, shipping notifications, and abandoned-cart reminder messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Data Retention & Security

We retain order and transaction records for at least the period required by tax and consumer-protection law (generally up to 7 years). Marketing contact data is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Support correspondence is retained for up to 3 years to resolve disputes and improve service. We use TLS encryption in transit and rely on Shopify's PCI-compliant infrastructure for stored payment data.

Children

Our store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
