Ownership
Barber Collectives and its licensors own the Services and all intellectual property in them, including:
- the CollectiveOS platform, source code, and architecture;
- Builder Mode, Intelligence, dashboards, automations, and the Recommendation Ledger;
- the Academy, including lesson scripts, videos, audio, slides, templates, quizzes, and assessment design;
- partner curricula, including the Business Partner Launchpad;
- workflows, playbooks, checklists, and operating documentation;
- graphics, photography, illustrations, and downloadable resources;
- branding, trademarks, trade dress, logos, and product names.
Limited License to You
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our intellectual property as expressly permitted by the Terms of Service, the Academy Terms of Use, and any program-specific agreement (such as the Business Partner Program Agreement, Creator Partner Agreement, Wholesale Buyer Agreement, or Supplier Agreement). No ownership transfers to you.
Restrictions
You will not:
- copy, modify, or create derivative works from our materials except as expressly permitted;
- redistribute, resell, sublicense, or publicly post our materials;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Services;
- remove or alter proprietary notices;
- use our trademarks or branding in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, or affiliation that does not exist;
- train AI or machine-learning systems on our materials without express written permission.
Your Content
You retain ownership of content you submit (for example, profile information, support messages, community posts, and creator submissions). You grant Barber Collectives a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting), distribute, and display your content as needed to operate, market, and improve the Services. You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license.
Feedback
If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without restriction or compensation.
Reporting Infringement
If you believe your work has been used in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, see our DMCA Policy.
Changes
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be reflected by a new version and effective date in the Legal Center.
