What CollectiveOS Is
CollectiveOS is the proprietary platform that powers Barber Collectives. It includes the application, dashboards, Builder Mode, Intelligence, the Recommendation Ledger, automations, integrations, content frameworks, and the supporting architecture (collectively, the "Platform").
License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and any program-specific agreement, Barber Collectives grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Platform for your authorized purposes during your active relationship with Barber Collectives. This is a license, not a sale. No source code, design files, or platform components are transferred to you.
Reserved Rights
All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Barber Collectives retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Platform, including all intellectual property rights.
Permitted Use
You may use the Platform to operate your account, complete authorized workflows, view your data, and access features made available to your role.
Prohibited Use
You will not:
- copy, modify, or create derivative works from the Platform;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code or algorithms;
- access the Platform by any means other than the user interfaces and authorized APIs;
- circumvent rate limits, authentication, authorization, billing, or licensing controls;
- use the Platform to build a competing product or service, or to benchmark for the purpose of building a competing product or service;
- sublicense, lease, rent, sell, or otherwise transfer the Platform or your account;
- remove or alter proprietary notices.
Updates and Changes
The Platform evolves. Features may be added, changed, deprecated, or removed. We may also change limits, defaults, and configurations. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material changes in advance where practical.
Data
You retain ownership of the data you submit. We process it as described in the Privacy Policy and as needed to operate the Platform and provide your authorized features.
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate Platform access for violations, risk events, non-payment, or where required by law. On termination, your license to use the Platform ends and you will stop accessing it. We will retain or delete data as described in the Privacy Policy and applicable agreements.
Future Licensing
Barber Collectives may, in its discretion, offer CollectiveOS or components of it under separate commercial licenses to third parties. This Policy does not grant you any rights to those future licenses.
Limitation of Liability
The limitations of liability in the Terms of Service apply to your use of the Platform.
Changes
We may update this Policy as the Platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a new version and effective date in the Legal Center.
